The constraint

The budget was frozen for six months.

With spend fixed, the only remaining lever was precision: which funnels get the money, and what happens to a player after the first deposit. Everything on this page follows from those two questions.

01 — The offer

One game at the centre of everything.

A single game gives the creative a concrete subject, the landing one thing to explain and the player one reason to arrive.

Every learning applies to every funnel, because they all point at the same product — including its own retention hook: 32 unlockable styles.

The product, live

This is what the traffic was pointed at.

Gameplay · live footage

Gameplay loops on its own. Pick a style to freeze on it — the loop resumes from the start as soon as you scroll.

Styles the player plays toward

Cosmetics are the game's own return mechanic — a reason to open it again that costs the operator no bonus money. The creative used them as the hook, and retention messaging picked up where the campaign stopped.

Twelve in-game looks. Picking one pauses the footage; scrolling on resumes it.

02 — Month 1, testing

Several approaches run side by side. Then most of them are switched off.

The first month buys information, not results. At the end of it the winners keep the budget and the rest stop — an exit rule agreed before the money is spent.

Six funnels were stopped inside the first month. The two that reached the agreed cost per depositor took the whole budget for the remaining five.

Illustrative workflow — the shape of the decision, not a count of real campaigns.

01

Data quality

Is the funnel producing enough clean signal to judge it at all?

02

Target action

Does it reach the action we agreed to pay for, not a proxy for it?

03

Cost of result

What does that action cost here compared with the alternatives on test?

A working template for the selection call, not thresholds from this account.

03 — The system

Acquisition and retention are one loop.

Traffic management decides who arrives. Retention on the Betdevel platform decides whether the first deposit becomes a habit. Splitting the two is how budgets leak.

01Acquisition 02Registration 03Deposit 04Return visit 05Repeat deposit

Traffic management · 01–03

Which funnels get the money, and what the creative promises.

Retention on Betdevel · 03–05

What reaches the player between the first deposit and the next one.

Illustrative journey — stages, not measured drop-off.

04 — The proof

Registrations fell. Repeat deposits rose. The funnel got sharper, not wider.

Five months read off the operator's dashboard. Counts of actions — not money, and not unique players. The dips are in the data and stay in the numbers.

For your project

What we would bring to your market

01

A testing month with an exit rule

Several approaches on test, and a written rule for what gets switched off at the end of it.

02

One offer, not a catalogue

A single product carries the creative, the landing and the promise — so every learning transfers.

03

Retention as part of acquisition

What happens after the first deposit is planned with the campaign, not after it.

Illustrative

Diagrams showing the shape of a process, carrying no measured values.

  1. The money metric behind 50,000 → 350,000 TND per month is pending confirmation and is referred to throughout as the "monthly figure" — not revenue, profit, GGR, NGR or deposits.
  2. The year shown on the dashboard is not stated in the source, and its association with the six-month case is not confirmed.
  3. Registrations, deposits and redeposits are counts of actions, not unique players; no rates or ratios are derived from them.
  4. 7× equals +600% over the starting figure. Advertising budget change reported as 0%.
